Princess for a Day

I am the last person you would call a girlie-girl, but I was really looking forward to the Styling Suite at Be Your Best You hosted by Two Point Oh! LA this past Sunday.  All work and no play makes me a haggard looking gal who wears yoga clothes all the time. (Hello lululemon, you need to me as an ambassador!)

Princess for a day it was with hair by Edia, nails by Essie, shoes from Sole Society and a glowing tan from Chocolate Sun all together under one roof.  And not to mention champagne cocktails by Hpnotiq.

I had the luxury of getting air brushed tanned a few days before at the Chocolate Sun Studio in Santa Monica (benefits of knowing the owner).  The organic tan made my skin oh-so-soft and gave me a non-orangey glow.

Next up for me was hair.  The creative director of Edia, DJ Riggs gave me beautiful Veronica Lake like waves and used wonderful Edia products on my hair.  I had no idea I could have hair this gorgeous!

And nothing is complete without shoes!!  Sole Society was present to give us our party favorites.  I made off with these beauties, which I will save for a later date:

I went home exhausted from all the pampering but afraid to take a nap because I didn’t want to mess up my hair.

A few hours later, I picked up Eileen and off to the Palihouse we went!  Everybody looked amazing and I just can’t do the event justice, mainly because my iPhone sucks and couldn’t take any good pictures.

I really did feel like a Princess for the day.
